ACM SIGCHI > About > Committees > Accessibility Committee
The SIGCHI Accessibility Committee is an arm of the SIGCHI Executive Committee (EC) dedicated to making our community accessible to and equitable for people with disabilities. Our activities include communicating the values and needs of disabled community members, facilitating provision of accessibility services (e.g., captioning and sign language) at EC events, developing policies and guidelines to raise the standard of accessibility at all SIGCHI events.
We invite you to learn more about us and meet our committee members. We hope you make use of our list of resources for SIGCHI organizers, authors, and attendees seeking to support our mission of creating an accessible community. Please check back mid-2022 for website updates, including a listing of upcoming events/meetings, past meeting minutes, blog posts, and updated resource lists.
