Policy
This page (which was last updated in March 2019) describes the objective and process involved in applying for the ACM SIGCHI Specialized Conferences Development Fund. This funding mechanism was first an experiment from 2015 – 2018. As of 2019 this is part of the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 budgets and will be reviewed regularly by SIGCHI. Conferences are expected to break even and not return a surplus. We request conference steering chairs to make submissions several months in advance of when the funds are needed.
PAST APPLICATIONS
Once a project has been approved it will be added to this page. Approval comes from the SIGCHI Conferences Board (Nov 2016) and previously from the SIGCHI core CMC (Jul 15 – Oct’16).
FINAL REPORTS
Once a project has submitted its final report, it will be added to this page.
