PAIR Symposium 2020
November 18, 2020 @ 7:00 am - 4:30 pm EST
The PAIR Symposium 2020, hosted by Google’s People + AI Research (PAIR) team, will be taking place virtually on November 18th.
Main event
The focus of this year’s symposium is boundary objects in participatory machine learning.
We’ll be featuring perspectives from artists, researchers, policy makers, data scientists, designers, engineers and more on what boundary objects for machine learning can be, and what it looks like to put them into practice.
The event will be a three-part series of talks, panels, and discussions, with sessions hosted from London, Boston, and Seattle, respectively, over the course of the day. (Please check the schedule for more details.) You are welcome to join any or all of the three sessions.
The main event is open to the public and does not require registration. You can tune into the livestream here.
Breakout discussions
Each leg of the main event will be followed by breakout discussions. Registration for the breakout session is closed.
