“Becoming a “Natural Leader”: the 4 pillars of self-leadership”

Do you wish you were a “natural” leader? Someone who everyone gravitates to and commands respect. What’s their secret? Well, it starts with self-leadership because you have to lead yourself before you lead others. This presentation will cover the 4 principles of self-leadership and how you can approach each principle to strengthen your skill.

“Does Authentic Leadership Exist? Challenging our perspectives”

“20 Traits of a True Leader”. “Leaders with ‘this’ characteristic always shine.” “Some of the world’s greatest leaders identify ‘must-have’ traits to be a true leader.”

These headlines exist everywhere – to the point where every aspect of being an authentic leader has been over-scrutinized and critiqued.
Meena Kothandaraman shares her perspective on authentic leadership as she has balanced her professional experience as a qualitative researcher, her role in her family, and taking care of herself.
Along the way, Meena has looked for analogies and models of leadership – and found that four (and two!) legged animal friends have provided great inspiration.

Meena will share some quick models of leadership that have informed her own beliefs and definition of what it means to be an authentic leader.

What IS an authentic leader – and how do we interpret what it is? How do we make it meaningful to our own lives?

Come join Meena for a quick discussion and decide for yourself what it means to you.
